Curtain Raiser in Berlin Curtain Raiser Theatre Troupe, Malta traveled around the globe with various different theatre projects and workshops. This time, Curtain Raiser traveled to Berlin where Patrick Vella, founder and director of the troupe, directed a workshop that led to a performance on the 24th of July 2004. Patrick was invited with his troupe by Julia Bleich and joined forces with Austrian and German actors with 4 of his elements in the troupe. The workshop was entitled SNAKES AND LADDERS, and an ensemble of techniques of theatre practitioners were adopted for this specific workshop. The Maltese team was made up of Patrick Camilleri, Tiziana Calleja, Sarah Camilleri and Graziella Galea Pirotta.
