Theatre Workshops by Guillermo Horta   Curtain Raiser Theatre Troupe invited Guillermo Horta, an internationally known Workshop Master and performer from Cuba to carry out theatre workshop sessions here in Malta for Maltese theatre participants between the 3rd and 7th of November 2003. Ten Maltese participants enjoyed a ten-day workshop led by Patrick Vella and Guillermo Horta in Austria last August and it was now  the time that Guillermo Horta comes to Malta and works with Maltese theatre performers and share multicultural theatre experiences. In these workshops actors were shown alternative ways of how one can use his body and imply the meaning of it through both spiritual and philosophical thoughts.  The five day workshop followed by two performances on Sunday 9th November at 8.00pm; one by the students and one by Guillermo Horta himself.  The performances were set in a site-specific area; the Inquisitor's Palace in Birgu which is rich both in multiculture energy and in its history.
