Spring time is here and with the flowers blooming all around us, Curtain Raiser blossomed with the idea of throwing the first ever Parent and Child Spring Fair.
The event, which took place on May 16th, at the Buskett Roadhouse Gardens, opened its doors at 10:30am and the patrons had the opportunity to spend the whole day there, enjoying the number of activities which Curtain Raiser had planned for them all, whether they were children or adults.
For the children there was a new show to watch, met Ben 10, Sponge Bob Squarepants, Dora, Winnie The Pooh and more, amongst all of the other entertainment, and for the parents there were talks taking place including family investments and of course about Nature and Family, with lots of on the spot offers being offered also.
With sponsors like BOV, Green Pak, 34U, MRRA, PLAN Toys, Mama Knows, and The Bowline together with Nutz 'N Boltz, everyone found themselves busy the whole day long finding out information and being a part of the adventure. And the adventure got even more exciting and enduring this year, with The Bowline and Nutz 'N Boltz offering the chance for Curtain Raiser patrons to try out some wall climbing. Whatever the age, one had the chance to join their child/ren in a spot of wall climbing.
So none-the-less there was plenty for the family to do and see, with games, three themed bouncy castles: Caveman Councy Castle, Princesses Bouncy Combo, and The Cottage Bouncy, as well as a Magic Act and family Belly Dancing.
It certainly was a day filled with plenty of fun, frolics and adventure and we hope to see you all again at the next Curtain Raiser event.
