Using the idea of different skills such as weight lifting and rope skipping, both the Lion and the Mouse express to their audience that we each have our own qualities. The Mouse teaches the Lion that even the smallest of animals has its uses within the jungle and that is why we should all respect those around us and appreciate them for who they really are. One should never be too proud to turn down the help of others. Always keep your acquaintances as friends rather than as enemies.
